With much anticipation we drove to Richardson for the estate sale at the "Home of a Hoarder" only to discover the sale was the weekend prior! No worries, we quickly found our next sale and rushed in to find our "treasures".
Upon arrival the gentleman who greeted us at the door told us everything was 50% off. Music to our ears and Angela promptly found an easel she "had to have". After all it was only 50 cents...
We found two old typewriters in the garage and bought both of them for a total of $10.
Other treasures included a childs shoe and a tennis shoe (you have to admit they are adorable), a box of old green stamps, an old ashtray, a mini sewing kit, numerous vintage books, and a mini linseed oil bottle. We made another stop on Dykes Way and our excitement built as we saw people carting off truck loads of "stuff". Once inside the door we were once again told everything was 50% off and I saw a long line of people at the cashier's table. Angela found an old ledger with clippings of helpful tips, hand written recipes and old letters (remember when people wrote letters and mailed them?).
